Free download origin 6.0. Education software downloads - Microcal Origin by Microcal Software, Inc. And many more programs are available for instant and free download. Software is then used to analyze the ITC data using fitting models to calculate reaction stoichiometry (n), binding constant (K D), enthalpy (ΔH) and entropy (ΔS). ThermoVac The MicroCal VP-ITC is delivered with a ThermoVac so that you can easily degas samples. The ThermoVac is capable of thermostatting a sample at any temperature 2 Sensor. MicroCal PEAQ-ITC Analysis software MICROCAL PEAQ-ITC ANALYSIS SOFTWARE The MicroCal PEAQ-ITC Analysis Software analyzes calorimetric data imported from ITC experiments quickly and easily. Data can be processed from both MicroCal PEAQ-ITC and MicroCal PEAQ-ITC Automated systems. It has never been simpler to import ITC. In 1990 the company introduced the graphing and data analysis software Origin. The initial success of Origin led to to the creation of Microcal Software Inc., an independent company, in October of 1992.

GE Microcal VP-ITC
Summary
The MicroCal VP-ITC (Isothermal Titration Calorimeter) unit directly measures heat evolved or absorbed in liquid samples as a result of mixing precise amounts of reactants. A spinning syringe is utilized for injecting and mixing of reactants. The user inputs the experimental parameters (temperature, number of injections, injection volumes) and the computer carries out the experiment. Origin® software is then used to analyze the ITC data using fitting models to calculate reaction stoichiometry (n), binding constant (KD), enthalpy (ΔH) and entropy (ΔS).
To avoid damage or contamination, researchers must provide their own Hamilton 81414 syringe for loading sample solutions. The syringe can be purchased through VWR via CyBuy or directly from Hamilton. The instrument must be reserved in advance, and various rules apply. Reserve time using iLab. Reservations do not require approval.
The instrument is located in 1238 Hach Hall. Enquiries should be directed to Sarah Cady. Phone 515-294-5975 (office). NOTE: The Microcal ITC is now serviced and supported by the Malvern company. The weblink is: http://www.malvern.com/en/products/measurement-type/microcalorimetry/default.aspx.
FY'18 Rates
The instrument is to be used by students and other researchers. Significant training is required, including sucessful completion of several tutorials and lessons before you will be authorized to use the instrument. Staff will NOT provide methods development assistance for this instrument, but will direct you to internet-based ITC resources. The hourly rates are listed below. NOTE: There is a minimum charge of $10 for each use of the instrument.
